Pricing and quotes
How much will my plumbing job cost?
Every job gets a fixed written price before any work begins, so you approve the number first. The assessment and quote cost $0, and the price we quote is the price you pay.
Do you charge a call out fee?
No. Getting a licensed plumber to your door costs nothing, day or night, and you only ever pay for work you have approved in writing.
Do you charge more for nights, weekends or public holidays?
No overtime rates apply. After-hours attendance is priced the same way as any other job, with nothing added afterwards regardless of when it happens.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Card, cash and payment plans are accepted, and because every job is quoted as one fixed figure in writing, you know the full commitment before authorising anything.

Availability and licensing
How quickly can you get to a plumbing emergency?
Real humans answer the phone around the clock and we're on-site fast, often dispatching a van that has just finished a job nearby. For water you cannot isolate, or any suspected gas smell, call immediately.
What licences and insurance do you carry?
Every plumber works under licence #275278C with full insurance behind each job, and the compliance certificates that protect your home's paperwork arrive with the invoice without you needing to chase them.
Is your workmanship guaranteed?
Every completed job carries our Lifetime Labour Warranty. If something we've done isn't right, we come back and make it right, no questions and no cost.

Services
What plumbing services do you cover?
The full trade: emergency plumbing day or night, general repairs, drainage, hot water systems, bathroom and kitchen work, leak detection, backflow testing and appliance installation, all inside the same licensed team.
Can you fix a blocked drain without digging up the garden?
Often, yes. A camera inspection shows exactly where the fault sits, high-pressure jetting clears most blockages, and relining can seal cracked pipes from inside, so excavation is the last resort rather than the default.
Should I repair or replace my hot water system?
We test the unit honestly and repair what can genuinely be repaired. When a tank is past economic repair we say so plainly, and a replacement is priced upfront before you decide anything.
Can you work on old gas pipework in period homes?
Yes, and often. Federation and mid-century houses frequently carry decades-old gas lines, which we upgrade, pressure test and certify to current Australian standards before connecting any new appliance.

The local area
Are tree roots in drains a common problem around here?
Very. The suburb's dense canopy and bushland edges push roots into the joints of ageing sewer lines on established blocks, making root intrusion one of the most frequent calls we attend.
Why do older houses around here have clay drains?
Homes built before 1940 were laid with earthenware clay drainage, which cracks, offsets and loses fall as it ages. A camera run establishes the line's true condition before anyone proposes digging.
Do you handle the water authority's side of a connection?
We diagnose whether a fault sits on your private line or Sydney Water's side, and we handle the compliance paperwork and lodgements your job needs. If the fault is theirs, we tell you honestly rather than billing you for it.
Which areas do you service?
Gordon and the surrounding Ku-ring-gai area, including Killara, Pymble, West Pymble, St Ives and Roseville. The vans work these streets constantly rather than commuting in from across Sydney.
Still have a question?
Call (02) 9072 0504 and speak to a licensed plumber directly, not an answering machine, or leave your details on our contact page for a callback. Either way you'll get a fixed price before any work begins, with no obligation to proceed, and answers from someone who knows these streets firsthand.
